Position Overview:
Join our vibrant café team as a Chef, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service to our valued customers. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED passionate and dedicated individual to assist in the preparation and presentation of our menu, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of a variety of dishes, including breakfast options, and lunch offerings.
- Cooking: Cook and assemble dishes according to café standards, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently met.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and freshness, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring proper food handling and storage.
- Stock Management: Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, and managing stock levels to minimise waste.
Cafe Opening hours are:
Monday - Saturday 6.30am - 4pm
Sunday - 7am - 4pm
THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE INCLUDING WEEKENDS!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for food and customer service.
