Job Summary:
Provide support to the maintenance department and fully implement a planned, preventative maintenance programme for all Augean sites. Provide proactive Supervision to workshop staff and ensure all Safe Systems of Work are in place and followed always. Ensuring site requirements are met daily, by monitoring performance, housekeeping and safety participation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture.
· Ensuring that all employees and non-employees visiting understand and abide by site rules.
· Ensuring all offshore load outs / spares requests meets load out deadlines.
· Supervise workshop assistants, temporary workshop operatives, providing training, sharing skills and knowledge.
· Ensuring housekeeping is kept to the best possible reasonably practicable level
· Providing advice and support where appropriate to all levels within the business to ensure effective service delivery.
· To refurbish and repair company owned and 3rd party equipment as per Quality Assurance procedures.
· To maintain all associated Workshop equipment and complete relevant pre-use inspection forms.
· To keep workshop and yard clean and tidy, maintain and implement safe working practices at all times.
· Providing mechanical advice and support where appropriate to all levels within the business to ensure effective service delivery.
· To provide breakdown assistance onshore for Augean rental equipment/ assets and or maintenance as and when required.
· Completion of company competencies to the best of your ability.
· Review all work instructions and risk assessments on a job by job basis
· Undertaking specific tasks as per business requirements
· Maintaining continuous professional development
· Any other reasonable duties as and when required.
Critical Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and Experience:
· IOSH Working Safely
· High Level of Safety Consciousness
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Previous Experience in Effective Training and Supervision of Personnel
· Previous Experience in Maintenance of Water Jetting Units, Vac Units, Centrifuges etc.
· Forklift Certificate
· Mechanical background
· 5 years’ experience within a similar environment.
· Water Jetting Certificate
