Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Damp Proofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying damp proofing treatments to residential properties, ensuring effective moisture protection.
This role requires a proactive approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full training will be provided, and all positions are paid.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and ensuring they are suitable for damp proofing application
- Apply damp proofing materials accurately according to project specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Drive between sites safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations
- Assist with other related tasks as required to support project completion
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and working at heights if necessary
- Prior experience in building maintenance or damp proofing is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
