WE’RE HIRING: PART TIME ASSISTANT RACE DIRECTOR
Simply Race Manchester is looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic new team member to help deliver our public sessions, children’s parties, corporate events and private bookings.
The role includes:
Welcoming and checking in guests
Explaining simulator controls and race formats
Helping customers choose suitable cars and tracks
Monitoring sessions and keeping events running smoothly
Supporting parties, corporate bookings and group events
Basic simulator and computer troubleshooting
Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming venue
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in motorsport or sim racing
Enjoys speaking with customers and groups
Can give clear instructions in a calm and friendly way
Is available for evenings and weekends
Can work additional hours during the summer and school holidays
Is comfortable learning new systems
Previous experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
This could be a great first job for someone passionate about motorsport, and it may also suit college or university students looking for summer work before moving to flexible shifts when studies resume.
Applicants must be 18 or over due to alcohol sales at the venue.
Due to regular interaction with children and young people, the successful applicant will be required to complete an appropriate DBS check.
