Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Supervise and support children throughout their daily routines, including playtime, meals, naps, and learning sessions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that complies with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and management to ensure consistent care and support
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and fostering positive behavior
- Manage daily administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance tracking, and activity planning
- Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Childcare or equivalent
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring transportation or home visits

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,417.98 per year
