The applicant would need to have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent experience. An experience of dementia would be an advantage.
Applicant must
- be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS
- have ability to lead and motivate a small team of Care Assistants
- have ability to provide personal care & hygiene
- have ability to update Care Plans and ensure individual’s care plan is followed correctly
- experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations is desirable
- flexible, adaptable and responsible at all times to meet the changing needs of the service
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Administering medication safely in line with the policy and the individual’s care plans.
