We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Relief Security Guard to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across various facilities by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting surveillance activities. Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises and identify suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying identification and issuing passes as needed.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing immediate assistance and coordinating with emergency services if necessary.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any irregularities.
- Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance records accurately and thoroughly.
- Support first aid procedures when required, providing basic assistance until professional help arrives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to operate CCTV systems confidently and conduct visual inspections of the premises.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential security risks or suspicious activity.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and basic first aid procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report incidents and coordinate with emergency responders.
- Ability to stand, walk, or remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
- A responsible attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all personnel and visitors.
