If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you. Currently, we are seeking to recruit a hardworking individual for our Falkirk office.
Candidates shall work as a Legal Assistant primarily within our Private Client Department in our Falkirk office. They will work within a team of 4 providing key support to fee earners to ensure the smooth running of the team & each client's experience
Key Responsibilities of the role
· Liaising with and providing administration support solicitors and case handlers
· Answering calls for the department and responding to enquiries (email, telephone, and letters)
· Processing the mail
· Working with the online case management system, keeping records up to date
· Filing for the department
· Scanning mail and documentation for all matters in the department
· Arranging appointments and booking relevant meeting rooms
· Drafting of initial letters to client and documentation as directed by those within the department
· Processing payments to beneficiaries
· Registering Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian
· Retrieving files from storage
· Preparing and implementing mandates
· Setting up new files on behalf of fee earners
· Arranging signing of mail
· Providing relief cover for reception in our Falkirk office where required.
Candidates should possess the following Experience and Skills:
· Experience working within a busy office environment.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced, high turnover environment.
· Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
· Experience working with clients.
· A high level of attention to detail.
· The ability to multi-task.
· Excellent MS office skills.
Additionally, it would be desirable but not essential for you to have the following:
· HND/SVQ qualification in business administration, legal services (or similar) and Private Client experience.

Pay: £23,150.00-£24,000.00 per year
