Job description
We are looking for a permanent Holiday cover operative for our site Hoddesdon. Sainsburys Rye Park EN11 0EZ. As the holiday cover you will be employed as a cleaning operative to cover the team on site when they are on holiday. This is a permanent full time position and if not needed to cover you will add additional hours to the contract.
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days to cover a number of shifts including AM, PM, Nights and weekends.
Pay rate: £16.79
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Use a variety of manual cleaning equipment and chemicals inc. ride-on scrubber dryer machine and small pedestrian cleaning machines
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are recorded and spillage reports are completed
- Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at sites
- Ensure that all staff working hours are recorded
- Maintain and promote a safe & positive working environment
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Can demonstrate successful experience preferably within the cleaning industry.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Strong organisational and practical skills
- The ability to follow site schedules
- Flexibility across a range of shift patterns
Vetting
ISM will require you to have a 5 year work history vetting process as well as a DBS check.
