We're looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking individual to play a central role as Edinburgh Rugby Academy Analyst. Working closely with talented young athletes and elite coaches, you'll drive performance through cutting-edge analysis and innovative feedback methods, helping shape the future club and international players of tomorrow.
What you will be doing:
Deliver detailed video and statistical reports on player performance, presenting in-depth insight into senior academy players' development aligned to their Individual Player Plans
Lead analysis provision at training and on matchday, covering team analysis, data collection and reporting
Manage all match and training footage and data for archiving and analysis, maintaining the analysis hardware and software used across the programme
Drive player and coach learning through engaging video, statistics and visual reporting
What we’re looking for:
Performance analysis experience in a high-performance sporting environment, ideally working within a multi-disciplinary team
Strong rugby union knowledge; playing or refereeing experience is advantageous
Hands-on experience with Hudl products (Sportscode, Studio) and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Excellent self-management, planning and organisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment
