Part-Time Client Development & Sales Executive – Luxury Tailoring
Location: The Landmark London, Marylebone
Salary: £24,000–£27,000 basic for 3 days per week + uncapped commission
Job Type: Part-time, 3 days per week
About Richard George Tailoring
Richard George Tailoring is an independent British tailoring business specialising in bespoke and made-to-measure clothing for men and women.
From our showrooms in Warwickshire and at The Landmark London in Marylebone, we work with private clients, business leaders and organisations who value exceptional clothing, personal service and long-term relationships.
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded individual to help develop our London business on a three-day-per-week basis.
This is a genuine sales and business development position rather than a part-time showroom-cover role.
The Opportunity
We believe there are highly capable people in London who do not necessarily want a conventional five-day working week.
You might already have considerable experience in luxury, hospitality, client relationships or business development and now want a role that allows you to apply that experience within a more flexible working structure.
Equally, you may already have a strong London network and enjoy introducing people, developing relationships and creating commercial opportunities.
The important point is that although the role is part-time, the commercial expectation is not.
You will be expected to actively develop relationships, generate appointments, win clients and build your own portfolio of business.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing your own portfolio of clients
- Generating new appointments and sales opportunities
- Meeting clients in our Landmark London showroom
- Developing relationships with businesses and professionals around London
- Building referral relationships and local partnerships
- Developing opportunities within The Landmark London
- Networking and attending relevant events
- Re-engaging existing and dormant clients
- Identifying corporate opportunities
- Prospecting through LinkedIn, referrals, introductions and direct outreach
- Following up prospective clients
- Converting appointments into sales
- Developing repeat business and referrals
- Maintaining accurate client and prospect records
- Representing Richard George Tailoring professionally in the showroom and externally
Training will be provided in our tailoring process, fabrics, products and approach to client consultation.
Who This Could Suit
We are deliberately looking beyond traditional tailoring candidates.
Relevant experience could include:
- Luxury retail
- Bespoke or made-to-measure tailoring
- Luxury menswear
- Five-star hospitality
- Private members' clubs
- Watches and jewellery
- Premium automotive
- Property
- Recruitment
- Events
- Client relationship management
- Professional services
- Business development
You do not need to arrive with technical tailoring knowledge.
We are looking for someone with the confidence and commercial instinct to develop relationships and create opportunities.
You should be:
- Highly personable
- Polished and professional
- Comfortable with affluent and senior clients
- Commercially aware
- Proactive
- Confident approaching new people
- Comfortable networking
- Disciplined with follow-up
- Self-motivated
- Well organised
- Resilient
- Capable of working independently
- Interested in building your own portfolio of clients
- Comfortable representing a luxury business
An existing network can be valuable, but we are more interested in your ability to build one.
What Success Looks Like
This is not a position where success is measured by simply being present in the showroom.
We will look for:
- New appointments generated
- New clients acquired
- Revenue generated
- Repeat business
- Referral relationships created
- Partnerships developed
- Consistent prospecting and follow-up
- Growth of your own client portfolio
Our sales approach is consultative and relationship-led. We want clients who return to Richard George Tailoring over many years.

We are interested in finding the right person and can discuss the most appropriate working pattern during the recruitment process.
Work location: In person at The Landmark London, Marylebone, NW1 6JQ, client locations across London and remote working where appropriate.
