Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Relief) to join our team on a flexible basis. In this important role, you will provide high-quality care and early years education to children, ensuring their well-being, development, and safety during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s learning and development.

Support the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, play, and rest periods.

Observe and assess children’s progress, contributing to planning and development records.

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.

Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to ensure smooth operation and consistent care.

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children’s activities and well-being.

Be flexible and adaptable to cover shifts as required, including short notice relief work.
Requirements
Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role.

Strong understanding of child development and early years frameworks.

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to various shifts and settings.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to providing a nurturing and safe environment for children.

Valid DBS check and right to work in the UK.
