We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Apprentice to join our team, based across either of our bakeries in Ayr.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop practical skills and build a career within the bakery and confectionery industry.
About the role
Depending on your skills and interests, you may be based at either of our two Ayr bakeries:
Our Bakery – Dough, Potato Scones & Tea Bread
You will have the opportunity to learn about the production of traditional bakery products, including dough products, potato scones and tea bread. You will work alongside experienced members of our team and learn the processes involved in preparing, producing and finishing our products.
Our Confectionery Bakery – Cakes & Confectionery
Our second bakery is where our cakes and confectionery products are made. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in cake production, decorating, finishing and other aspects of confectionery.

Previous bakery experience is not essential as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship.
