A night cleaning operative's role involves working during the night to the early hours.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment by undertaking various cleaning tasks, such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing, in designated areas. Responsible for using cleaning products and equipment appropriately, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Tasks: Performing various cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining Standards: Ensuring designated areas are clean, safe, and hygienic, adhering to cleaning protocols and service standards.
- Equipment Usage: Appropriately using cleaning products, materials, and equipment, both handheld and powered.
- Health and Safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring a safe work environment for themselves and others.
- Reporting: Reporting any defects in equipment or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Training: Undertaking any relevant training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Liaising with supervisors and reporting relevant information or occurrences.
