Working Pattern: Rolling 3-week rota (including 1 in 3 weekends)
Salary scale: 24-28 (£27,663 – £31,443 per annum, plus unsocial premium)

The Impact You'll Make
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and capable Senior Project Worker to join our dedicated and supportive team within our hostel-based service. In this role, you will contribute to creating a safe and structured environment in which clients can build confidence, access opportunities, and make positive changes in their lives. You will play a key role in supporting the effective day-to-day running of the service. This position requires a balance of leadership, practical support, and a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Service Manager and Team Leader in the delivery of a high-quality service
- Providing supervision, guidance, and mentoring to staff members
- Identifying training and development needs within the team
- Supporting staff to carry out their duties safely and effectively
- Responding appropriately to service user and staff matters as they arise
Who We're Looking For
The successful candidate will bring relevant experience and a thoughtful, innovative and professional approach to their work.
You will have:
- Experience of working with individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including those with complex needs
- Experience of leading a team, including; maintaining consistent and professional service standards, supporting staff wellbeing, navigating challenging situations and managing performance
- An understanding of issues such as substance use and mental ill health
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
- A commitment to person-centred and trauma-informed approaches
- Strong organisational and leadership skills to support the effective running of the service
- Knowledge of safeguarding, professional boundaries, confidentiality, and data protection
- Competent IT skills
