To ensure the load is safely and efficiently transported from collection to delivery and undertake packing, loading and unloading as and when required.
- Pack, carry, load and unload the vehicle containing customer and client personal effects and furniture

Operate a commercial HGV vehicle in a safe and reliable manner and be responsible at all times for the vehicle and its load

Undertake daily vehicle and safety checks, routine maintenance (e.g. oil and water checks) and report any defects
- Carry out work safely and in accordance with the Safe Systems at Work Procedures, methods, statements or other instructions

Check all vehicle loads comply with the requirements of Road Traffic Legislation and the defined operating limits of the vehicle

Undertake regular training required as part of the Driver Continuing Professional Competence (CPC qualification)

Work independently and within a team where and when required

Complete all vehicle paperwork as required

Complete and return paperwork as required when making deliveries

Contribute to your own development and that of others
- To ensure compliance of oneself with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and of oneself and subordinates with defined Quality System Policy and Procedures pertinent to ISO9002

Any other duties as may be requested by Management.
