Company: AIM Resin Flooring Ltd
Initial engagement: Subcontractor basis
Location: Site based, with regular travel and working away
AIM Resin Flooring Ltd is looking for an experienced resin flooring installer who can work on the tools, lead projects on site and, in time, progress into a permanent Contracts Manager role.
This could suit an established subcontractor who wants to build a long term position within a growing business and eventually move into a management role.
Initially, you will work alongside our installation team while taking responsibility for running projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will need to demonstrate your technical ability, reliability, leadership and ability to manage projects before progressing into the Contracts Manager position.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading resin flooring projects from preparation through to completion
- Working on the tools as part of the installation team
- Organising labour, materials, equipment and daily site activities
- Supervising installers and labourers
- Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
- Liaising with customers, contractors, site managers and other trades
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed
Experience required
You must have substantial experience installing commercial and industrial resin flooring systems, including:
- Substrate preparation and repairs
- Drainage channels and falls to drainage
- Polymer screeds and repair mortars
- High build resin coatings
- Self levelling resin systems
- Heavy duty 6 to 9 mm polyurethane flooring systems
- Resin coving
- Expansion and movement joints
You must be capable of producing a high quality finished floor, leading a team and managing projects without constant supervision.
Travel and working away
Project locations vary according to our workload. Some work will be local, while other projects may be nationwide.
Regular travel, early starts, overnight stays and working away from home will be required. This is not a role where you will always return home every evening.
Progression
Once you have proved your ability to deliver projects and lead teams, there will be an opportunity to progress into a permanent Contracts Manager role.
This will involve planning and overseeing multiple projects, managing installation teams, allocating labour and equipment, liaising with customers, monitoring quality and helping the business grow.
Further progression will be available as the company develops.
