Summary
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator Key Worker to join our team at Stowey Bears Preschool in Nether. This vital role involves supporting children's development and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment for young learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2-5 years.
- Support children's emotional, social, and educational development.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress and address individual needs.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Promote inclusive practices that respect diversity.
- Keep accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant childcare or early childhood education qualifications. (preferred but candidates willing to take on relevant training will be considered)
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Driving license is preferred but not essential.
