Server – Georgian Bistro

Amkari / 80-20 Shops is looking for a friendly, reliable and attentive Server to join our small Georgian bistro.
We are a cosy, independent space serving Georgian food, Georgian wine and warm hospitality. The role is mainly customer-facing service: welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and wine, and making sure every guest feels looked after.
Our opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Main responsibilities
- Welcome guests and create a warm, professional atmosphere
- Take orders clearly and accurately
- Serve Georgian food, wine and drinks
- Explain dishes and wines in a simple, friendly way
- Help guests choose food and wine when needed
- Keep the dining area clean, tidy and well presented
- Prepare tables and support smooth service before, during and after opening
- Handle payments and basic till duties
- Support the team with general bistro operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation and customer service
- Represent the Amkari / 80-20 Shops brand with care and professionalism
The ideal candidate
- Friendly, polite and naturally good with people
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Comfortable working in a small, cosy hospitality environment
- Able to stay calm and helpful during busy service
- Has good attention to detail
- Previous experience in a restaurant, wine bar, café or hospitality role is helpful
- Interest in Georgian food and wine is an advantage
- Willing to learn about the menu, Georgian dishes and Georgian wines
Experience is welcome, but attitude, reliability and the ability to communicate warmly with guests are just as important.
