H&K Workforce Ltd is recruiting a Building Services Engineer on behalf of Acorn Engineering, an established M&E facilities maintenance contractor with more than 40 years of industry experience.
The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs across a portfolio of commercial client sites in Central London.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across client sites.
- Complete reactive repairs and fault-finding.
- Service and maintain HVAC systems, boilers, controls, heating and ventilation equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site teams and the wider engineering department.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota where required.
Essential experience
- Previous experience in a Building Services Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Facilities Maintenance Engineer role.
- Experience maintaining commercial heating, ventilation, HVAC or boiler systems.
- Strong fault-finding and reactive-maintenance experience.
- Relevant mechanical or building-services qualification.
- Good knowledge of health-and-safety procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel between client sites across Central London.
