Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm (20 hours per week)
Additional Hours: Available to cover staff holidays and sickness.
Eastfield Guest House Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations across our properties. This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who leads by example, maintains high standards, and is confident managing a small team. You'll be responsible for ensuring our accommodation is consistently presented to an excellent standard while supporting and motivating our housekeeping team.
Important Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)
- Must live in Wisbech or within a reasonable commuting distance
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Must be willing to travel between company sites
- DBS check required (or willing to undergo one)

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily cleaning duties.
- Carry out spot checks and quality inspections of bedrooms and communal areas.
- Ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared to the required standard before occupancy.
- Support the housekeeping team with cleaning duties where needed.
- Train and support new housekeeping staff.
- Maintain housekeeping standards across multiple sites.
- Monitor linen, cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with rota planning and provide cover for staff holidays and sickness.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH, Health & Safety and company procedures.

- Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident leading and motivating a team.
- Reliable, proactive and professional.
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Flexible and willing to travel between sites.
