Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales department through efficient administration, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong computer literacy, organisational skills, and experience in sales administration to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update customer records using CRM software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare sales reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Assist in processing sales orders, quotations, and invoices in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate communication between sales teams and clients to facilitate timely responses and follow-ups.
- Organise meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically for easy retrieval of documents.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the organisation.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales administration or related administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with CRM software.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills with a solid understanding of computer literacy principles.
- Experience with Sage accounting software is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
- using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) to research information, improve productivity and support day-to-day tasks.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
