We are now looking for a motivated and organised Property Manager to join our friendly team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, problem solving, and delivering outstanding service within a supportive and quality-focused environment.
Previous property management experience is preferred, and Propertymark qualifications would be an advantage.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring both landlords and tenants receive the highest level of support throughout the tenancy journey. You will act as a primary point of contact, managing maintenance issues, coordinating property compliance and legislation, conducting inspections, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service through professional telephone and written communication
- Manage and respond to tenant maintenance issues, providing initial troubleshooting where possible
- Liaise with landlords and contractors to coordinate maintenance solutions and repairs
- Keep landlords and tenants fully updated throughout ongoing works and tenancy matters
- Maintain accurate records and detailed notes on all communications and actions
- Conduct regular landlord feedback and relationship calls
- Ensure all maintenance works are completed efficiently and invoices processed correctly
- Monitor and maintain all required property compliance and legislation
- Carry out routine property inspections, producing clear reports and feedback for landlords and tenants
- Manage communications relating to tenancy check-outs and vacating procedures
- Handle deposits, deposit returns, and dispute processes within required timeframes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain excellent team communication and service standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Lettings, office administration or property management roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mediation skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Confidence and resilience when handling difficult conversations with the ability to remain calm, professional and solution focused when dealing with sometimes confrontational and demanding customers
- Full UK Driving License required
What We Offer
Competitive salary of £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
(Occasional appointment-only Saturday mornings)
