We have a new opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Lisburn.
In this role you will:
- Manage and improve our websites – including content creation, page building, and analytics – with the aim of improving search engine performance, driving traffic, and gaining new business.
- Manage and develop our social media channels – including content creation, scheduling, paid ads, and analytics – with the aim of raising the company profile and promoting our business, sponsorships, events, charity work, career opportunities, and staff achievements.
- Develop email marketing campaigns to raise the company profile, attract new business, drive online traffic, and promote our events and sponsorships. This includes audience segmentation and targeted mailshots to specific industry sectors.
- Create and edit videos for various channels to raise our company profile and promote our business, sponsorships, events, charity work, career opportunities, and staff achievements.
- Produce high-quality graphic designs for digital channels and print materials to improve our visibility, raise our company profile, enhance our content, and attract business.
- Draft articles for the Briggs newsletter and external publications, with the aim of raising our company profile, attracting new business, and engaging with our staff.
- Develop communications plans and / or business cases to ensure we maximise our marketing and revenue opportunities.
- Develop and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences to promote our business, products, achievements, future plans, and attract new customers.
- Assist with event preparation and management to ensure we maximise each opportunity and showcase the business in a manner aligned with our values and proposition.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in exploring and securing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities for Briggs Equipment and Group companies.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Degree, Level 6 NVQ, HND or comparable third level qualification in marketing or similar discipline.
- Experience of website management – to include written and visual content creation, page set-up, SEO, and knowledge of analytics.
- Experience of significant social media management and growth – to include written and visual content creation, scheduling, use of social media management platforms, adapting content for different channels, and using analytics to improve performance.
- Significant email marketing experience – to include written and visual content creation, contact list uploading and segmentation, scheduling, and using analytics to improve performance.
- Experience of creating and editing high-quality video content for different channels, e.g. social media, YouTube, and / or events.
- Significant experience of using graphic design software, with example(s).
- Excellent written skills and evidence of being able to tailor written content for different channels, both online and offline.
- Experience of creating a communications / marketing plan, with example(s).
- Experience of using Microsoft Office software, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload in a fast-changing working environment.
