At Nineteenth Bar & Kitchen, we’re passionate about great food and outstanding service. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly and customer-focused Front of House Assistants to join our already well established team and help create a welcoming, enjoyable dining experience for every guest.
The Role
As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be the face of the business—greeting guests, managing the flow of service, and working together as a team to ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two shifts are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house areas
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Support team members in delivering exceptional service
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with reservations and seating arrangements
- Collaborate with kitchen the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
What we're looking for
- A positive, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Strong teamwork and a willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential
- This job involves working some late nights so a driving license with access to own vehicle would be beneficial
- This role involves serving alcohol behind the bar so candidates must be at least 18 years of age
