We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility, respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping tasks.
- Follow individualized care plans meticulously to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Assist with monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care environment, including infection control procedures.
- Utilize IT systems effectively to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively and convey information clearly.
- Basic IT literacy for documentation purposes and understanding electronic health records.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Knowledge of care plans development and implementation ensures tailored support for each individual.
- A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care is essential.
Join our team as a Health Care Assistant and help us provide exceptional support that enhances the quality of life for those we serve! Contracted 36 hours over 3 days a week 8am till 8pm.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
