We're recruiting caring, reliable Care Assistants to join Abbey House in Bexhill, the role is full time, days and nights as needed with alternate weekends.
About the role
As a Care Assistant, you'll support our residents with everyday living in a way that keeps their dignity, independence, and comfort at the centre of everything. Day to day, that includes:
- Helping residents with personal care, mobility, eating and drinking
- Supporting people to stay active and involved in things they enjoy
- Building genuine relationships with residents and their families
- Keeping accurate, up-to-date records of the care you provide
- Working alongside the team to keep residents safe and well
What we're looking for
You don't need previous care experience — the right attitude matters most, and we'll give you the training and support to build the rest. We're looking for people who are:
- Kind, patient, and genuinely interested in people
- Reliable and happy to work as part of a team
- Comfortable with the physical side of care work
- Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
Experience in care, a Care Certificate, or an NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care is welcome but not essential.
