Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Gardener for part time initially but could become full time. From now til the end of October.
Duties
- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and maintaining flower beds to high standards
- Operating hand tools
- Clearing debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor areas to maintain a tidy appearance
- Assisting with landscape design projects and seasonal planting activities
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment and garden areas to identify maintenance needs
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shears, spades, rakes, and shovels
- Experience operating power tools including hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, and strimmers
- Ability to perform landscape maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in garden aesthetics
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Drivers License essential
- Pa1 and Pa 6 weed spraying certificate an advantage but not essential
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
