The Role
As a Senior Carer/ Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in delivering care and supporting both clients and staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care in all the services we offer
- Reviewing and updating care plans.
- Conducting client visits, quality checks, and audits.
- Supervising and mentoring carers, including onboarding and shadowing.
- Supporting with digital care planning and maintaining accurate records.
- Facilitating smooth introductions between carers and clients.
- Participating in on-call duties, including occasional weekend work and covering staff absence.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in home care is essential, including supervisory roles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A caring attitude towards individuals in a home care setting is essential.
- Confident using care management systems and technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, digital care planning tools).
- Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and care legislation.
