Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards consistently to ensure a healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is highly desirable.
- Strong janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to deliver consistent quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest requests professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
