We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s standards and recipes
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, ensuring smooth operation during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency across all dishes served
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Requirements
- Essential experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a busy restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
