Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Timber & Composite Decking Installer to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the South West.
The Role
As a Timber & Composite Decking Installer, you will be responsible for installing bespoke decking systems to the highest standard, working both independently and as part of a professional installation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing timber and composite decking systems.
- Constructing decking subframes and supporting structures.
- Installing steps, handrails, balustrades and associated features.
- Measuring, setting out and interpreting site drawings.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Working to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Providing excellent customer service whilst working on occupied properties.
Requirements
- Previous experience installing timber and composite decking is essential.
- A strong background in carpentry, landscaping or external construction.
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- CSCS Card advantageous but not essential.
