Overview
SkinFirst is looking for a qualified IPL/Laser technician to take over the role of IPL Hair Removal and introduce Tattoo Removal and Carbon Laser Facials. The option for IPL Skin Treatments is also an option for the right candidate.
SkinFirst has recently undergone a change in ownership and rebrand and we are keen to have a qualified IPL/Laser specialist added to the team!
SkinFirst is a Medical Aesthetics and Skin Clinic in Warrington, led by nurse prescriber Jenni Thain. SkinFirst is Save Face registered.
The role is initially on a self employed, hourly rate basis with a view to becoming an employed position.
Duties
- Perform IPL and laser treatments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal results.
- Educate clients on treatment options, procedures, aftercare, and expected outcomes to foster trust and confidence.
- Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace that meets health standards.
- Make recommendations for skincare routines to enhance treatment results and client satisfaction.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient questions, concerns, and feedback with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, patient progress, and follow-up schedules for ongoing care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in laser technology to continually improve skills and service quality.
Requirements
- Level 4 Laser and Light qualification (essential)
- Level 5 Tattoo Removal Qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills in English to clearly explain procedures and build rapport with patients.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that makes clients feel comfortable.
- Basic understanding of skincare principles and the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Must be detail-oriented with a focus on safety standards during all treatments.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry best practices.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
