Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Clean Team Assistant on a fixed-term contract, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless and welcoming. In this vital role, you will support the cleaning operations by performing essential tasks that ensure a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and commitment to quality will help maintain high standards of cleanliness across our premises, contributing to a positive workplace experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all designated areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, offices and common areas with precision and care.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance.
- Assist with waste disposal procedures, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed.
- Support team members in special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Litterpicking across the site, taking hot drinks to those in need, and generally being a spare pair of hands to your colleagues.
- Giving the toilets a thorough clean at the end of the day, in order to ensure they are ready and fully stocked for the following morning.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or domestic cleaning roles is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Happy to work outside in all elements as the site is a largely outdoor attraction.
Hours of work:
This fixed term contract will start 12th October for approximately 10 weeks. Hours per week can be fixed to either 24, 32, or 40. You must be flexible and able to work both weekdays and weekend days. We offer a fun and interactive training and induction programme, a competitive rate of pay, free hot drinks to keep you nice and warm!
Rate of pay:
The rate of pay is up to £14.24 per hour dependant on age. This role also benefits from holiday pay.
