Site Group are a leading waterproofing specialist operating throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction surveying/estimating who is looking to work on a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential waterproofing projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and tenders.
- Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Carry out site visits and surveys where required.
- Measure quantities and prepare cost estimates.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and the operations team.
- Manage tender submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with project handovers following successful bids.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator within the construction industry (waterproofing or flat roofing experience preferred but not essential).
- Good understanding of construction methods and building materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
