IT Hardware Technician (Consumer)

As an IT Hardware Technician, you’ll work in the consumer department where you will have a flexible role which will involve cleaning, testing, auditing and packing used PCs, laptops and monitors to company standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting and grading PCs, laptops, and monitors
- Cleaning both the inside and outside of equipment using compressed air and cleaning products
- Checking cables and internal parts for damage
- Testing, troubleshooting, and auditing used PCs, laptops and monitors
- Adding stock to the inventory system
- Packaging equipment ready for dispatch
- Using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and basic hand tools correctly
- Ensuring workspaces are tidy and tools properly maintained
- Adhering to workplace safety, including safe handling of equipment and compliance with company policies
- Handling IT equipment (up to 25kg) and working on your feet for extended periods

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, with good organisational skills
- A quick learner who can hit the ground running
