Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple locations within our organisation. This pivotal role involves leading operational teams, ensuring efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives across the region. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise regional operational teams to ensure high performance standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple sites, analysing data to inform decision-making.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with senior management to plan resource allocation and optimise operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise utilisation of resources within the region.
- Provide leadership during organisational change initiatives and support team development programmes.
- Establish effective communication channels between sites and corporate headquarters.
Customers
· Deliver an excellent service delivery for both regional & key account customers
· Deliver a service that meets customer SLA’s and KPI’s
· Achieve ‘turn around’ times on jobs so they are within agreed SLA’s
Drive AWR (Additional Work Required) quality through engineers to meet customer spend criteria thresholds
· Deliver ‘first time fix’ through engineers
· Keep customer updated throughout; and deliver bad news first
Operations
· Upload and create contracts on protean
· Pre plan Engineer diary’s and oversee daily running of engineers
· Order plant/access equipment; and that it is on site the day before works is planned to commence
· Organising hotels and accommodation
· Agree collection dates for plant/access equipment so ‘extended hire charges’ can be avoided
· Assist senior PPM Coordinator in keeping engineers productive
· Check all completed jobs and update status for invoicing/further works, as required
· Organising Pat testing for all engineers.
Financials
· Support Achieving monthly regional target
· Actively reduce ‘aged’ jobs to achieve agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
· Working a Live P&L
· Assist the National Service Commercial Manager to (NSCM) identify Key Accounts;
· Assist the NSCM to identify new opportunities to grow the Service Operation in the region;
Reporting
· Achieve daily, weekly, monthly routines
· Update all systems in ‘real time’ for clear visibility
· Report on poor data quality and/or data issues within agreed time frames
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in a management or leadership capacity within a regional or multi-site environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Flexibility to travel across various locations within the region as required.
- A relevant management qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a proactive leader committed to operational excellence who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to make a significant impact within our organisation.
