Are you passionate about helping children, young people and families thrive? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Support Officer to join our dedicated team on a 30-hour per week contract.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across North Lincolnshire. You will work directly with children, young people and their families, supporting assessments, supervising family contact sessions, delivering targeted interventions, undertaking direct work with children, contributing to care planning, and maintaining clear and accurate records. You will work closely with social workers and partner agencies to help ensure children are safe, supported and able to achieve positive outcomes.
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children, young people and families.

Can build positive and trusting relationships, even in challenging circumstances.

Has excellent communication, organisational and record-keeping skills.

Works well both independently and as part of a team.

Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Is flexible, compassionate and committed to helping families achieve lasting positive change.

Has the right to work in the UK and, where applicable, holds the appropriate visa or work permissions.

Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle, as the role involves travelling across North Lincolnshire to visit families, attend appointments, and work from a range of sites and community locations.

Is willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of children, young people and families.
