Duties
- Deliver high-quality personal care tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Assist with daily activities such as mobility, medication management, meal preparation, and personal hygiene
- Develop and review personalized care plans in collaboration with the care team to meet evolving needs
- Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and leadership to ensure consistent care delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and progress in IT-based systems
- Support individuals in engaging with community activities and social events to promote social inclusion
- Drive company vehicles when required to support outings or appointments, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or senior care environment is highly desirable
- Supervising or leadership experience within a care setting demonstrates your ability to guide others effectively
- Strong communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans ensures personalized support delivery
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting enhances efficiency and accuracy
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation responsibilities
