We are a busy hotel, bar & restaurant located in the centre of Melrose.
We are looking for somebody to come and join our kitchen team. It is a Porter position, will be mainly nights and weekends. Looking for someone part time and flexible. Would ideally suit someone in education or looking for some part time work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the kitchen staff in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and labelled
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
