Job Description
The new manufacture and installation of new skirt systems for Project craft and the manufacture and occasional installation of spare skirts and components for existing customers.
Objectives
Assist with achieving the Team Objectives
Interpret complex engineering drawings
Cutting out and abrading of rubber material to complex design
Precise bonding of rubber
Joining and connecting finished product
Installation of completed product onto craft
Work with your team members to achieve the objectives of the business and department and to promote the company values.
Work to continuously improve personal and overall business performance and quality Maintain standards for Health and safety
Occasionally working on site dealing with customers
Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience of boat or rib building would be an advantage The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
Exceptional eye for detail and Quality
Ability to work individually but still play a key role in the team Must be flexible and will move from job to job
Must understand and work to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
Experience and knowledge of braiding and adhesion of rubber
Technical knowledge in relevant engineering subjects
Knowledge of GML products and service offerings
Capable of working with customers, and staff at all levels Ability to wok to the GML Values and Behaviours
