Townley House Independent Nursery is looking for someone to join us for one hour each evening, Monday to Friday, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. We would also be happy to speak to someone who is looking for more hours. You will be joining a small, friendly nursery team and helping during the final part of the nursery day as children are collected and the setting is prepared for the following morning.
The role
The hours are:
Monday to Friday
5:00pm to 6:00pm
5 hours - 15 hours per week
£13.00 per hour
Your duties will include:
- Supporting staff and children during the end of the nursery day
- Helping to keep the nursery clean, tidy and organised
- Preparing resources and areas for the following day
- Helping with general nursery tasks
- Working as part of the nursery team
- Following safeguarding procedures and nursery policies
Who would this suit?
You might already have some childcare experience, or you may simply be interested in getting started in Early Years and want the opportunity to gain experience in a nursery.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, comfortable around young children and willing to get involved.
For someone interested in developing a career in childcare, this role could be a useful first step and a chance to gain practical experience within a nursery.
