Our Admissions Testing team plays a vital role in supporting grammar, independent and fair-banding schools through the development of high-quality admissions assessments. As the UK's leading provider of 11+ admissions tests, we create around 35 new assessments each year, helping schools make informed admissions decisions with confidence.
✨ About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Admissions Testing Editor to join our specialist Editorial team.
In this role, you'll take ownership of the editorial development, production and quality assurance of a portfolio of admissions assessments, guiding projects from manuscript stage through to final print delivery.
Working closely with test developers, typesetters, internal stakeholders, external suppliers and customers, you'll ensure every assessment meets the highest standards of accuracy, security and quality.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating across teams, and producing educational materials that make a real difference to schools and students.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the editorial development and production of allocated admissions assessments from manuscript through to final publication.
- Ensure all materials are delivered to exceptional standards of quality, accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee and participate in proofreading, quality assurance and approval processes throughout production.
- Manage project schedules to ensure assessments are delivered on time.
- Brief and manage external suppliers, including proofreaders, quality assurance reviewers and recording studios.
- Maintain the highest levels of assessment security and confidentiality.
- Protect intellectual property throughout the assessment development process.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality and accuracy
- Strong copy-editing, proofreading and editorial skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Experience managing stakeholders, suppliers or external partners
Desirable
- Experience creating and managing project schedules
- Familiarity with asset management systems and metadata/tagging processes
- Experience using Adobe InDesign or similar publishing software
- Knowledge of artwork briefing and manuscript preparation
- Experience within educational publishing, assessment or testing environments
Additional information:
This is role is a Hybrid role based out of our London office – 2 days a week usually Tuesday and Thursday. with the expectation with some travel to other offices as required for team.
Please note interviews will be held early September.

Location: We are currently located in Brentford however due to relocate to another London location later in 2026. It will be more central than our current location. Our current office is also dog friendly so there may be a well-behaved pet or two in on some days.
