Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Saturday Duty Manager & Supervisor to oversee daily operations during weekend hours. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, organisational abilities, and excellent communication, with experience in retail or sales management. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained throughout the weekend.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities during Saturday shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee sales activities, merchandising displays, and stock organisation to optimise sales performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting, scheduling, and stock management.
- Ensure the salon remains organised, clean, and welcoming for customers at all times.
- Assisting with growing the business by creating a welcoming environment and repeat bookings
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within the beauty industry or similar environments.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail and time management.
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
- Organisational skills complemented by good phone etiquette and professional demeanour.
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields is desirable.

Hourly rate is dependant on age and experience. Additional ad-hoc hours will be available throughout the year on weekdays to cover holidays. Option to also cover in our Potters Bar branch.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
