We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Seasonal Bar Staff to join our vibrant team during the busy summer months. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and professionally to guests in accordance with company standards
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of drinks to optimise guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age in line with licensing regulations
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation during service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, adhering to cash handling procedures
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within bars or restaurants, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area clean and well-stocked throughout shifts
- Flexibility to work during peak times, including weekends and evenings as required
