Dog Days Adventure is a dog day care centre providing day care, walks, fun and activities for dogs of all breeds at our centres in Ripley, Ockham and Chessington.
Due to increased demand for its services, Dog Days Adventure is looking to recruit a new team member who is reliable, organised and confident around lots of dogs. This role will include DRIVING and DOG DAYCARE ASSISTANT duties to cover holiday/sick.
The position will be 5 days a week - 37 hrs per week.
To be considered for this position, candidates should :
- Live in Kingston/Surbiton/Esher/Molesey or surrounding areas
- Be a confident driver and preferably have a familiarity with the areas we cover for pick ups/drop offs
- Must have owned or own a dog
- Be comfortable and confident handling dogs of all breeds
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working as part of a small but growing team
- Have a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude
- Must be prepared to work in all weather and conditions
- Level 3 qualification in Animal Management preferred but not essential
- Be computer literate and be able to learn new database systems
- Have held a clean driving licence for 5 years
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the daycare, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for dogs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dog care and activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the team regarding progress and needs of individual dogs.
- Drive to transport dogs as required, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize computer skills for scheduling and reporting tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
