We are based in Glemsford. Please note that we are unable to sponsor.
We are a small 17 Bed dementia care home. We are looking for suitable candidates to do a minimum of 36 hours per week. Alternate weekends are required.
Duties:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions as required
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and conduct night cleaning
- Medication is useful but not essential
Experience:
- Previous experience in care is not essential
- Knowledge of care home is a plus
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques is beneficial
- Experience with medication administration is desired
