Job Summary
The Prison Escort plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security of vistors and contractors to the establishments. We are seeking a volume of CTC security cleared Prison Escorts to work escorting contractors with immediate roles available across the UK.
This position involves ensuring that all protocols are followed to prevent any incidents and maintaining health, safety & wellbeing at all times.
The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and be an effective communicator alongside having CTC or SC security clearance.
Previous experience working in sensitive environments is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Safely escort inmates to designated areas within the facility, including medical appointments, court appearances, and other necessary locations.
- Monitor inmate behaviour during transport to ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to maintain security throughout the escort process.
- Report any unusual behaviour or incidents immediately to supervisory staff.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential risks during inmate movement.
- Maintain accurate records of inmate movements and any incidents that occur during escorts.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all individuals involved.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
