The Role…
Due to being awarded a substantial contract, we are recruiting Cable Jointers to join our expanding team. These opportunities will be managed from our Hamilton business, from which we deliver services to clients throughout the UK.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, but with significant onsite responsibilities, these opportunities will require you to be:
- Be familiar with DNO Cable Jointing techniques (LV)
- Have experience working with PILC and plastic cables
- Have experience working with various types of cut outs
- Keen to fulfil customers’ targets
Who we want…
The successful candidate will posses:-
- Demonstrable cable jointing/safety mate experience and competence (LV)
- Demonstrate leadership skills through effective communication, co-ordination of work and personal approach to health, safety and environmental obligations
- Competent in completion of Risk Assessments and the ability to understand Method Statements and safe sequence of operations
- NRSWA qualifications desirable
- DNO Authorisations for LV cable jointing and LV cut outs. SPEN authorisations would be preferred
- First Aid training
- Full UK Driving licence
