Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to maintain safety and security at our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment through vigilant surveillance and prompt response to incidents. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security breaches.
- Maintain a visible presence to reassure staff and visitors, providing assistance when required.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessary.
- Record all incidents accurately in detailed reports, including any security breaches or unusual activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, including administering basic first aid if needed.
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as appropriate.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or emergencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Valid first aid certification is desirable to handle minor medical emergencies effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergency situations.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities across the site.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to complete detailed incident reports accurately.
- Physical fitness suitable for patrolling the premises and standing for extended periods.
